Tylenol pm nightly bad or okay?

I do not sleep unless I take Tylenol pm. It’s so hard to fall asleep without them. I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I always forget to ask my obgyn if it’s okay to take them nightly. So what do you ladies think? Since Tylenol is ok in pregnancy but what about every night?

Tylenol is hard on your liver even if it is safe to take. The part that makes you sleepy is the same medication that is in Benadryl, which is also safe during pregnancy. I personally would talk to your doctor about your sleeping habits.

Theres been some mixed research regarding Tylenol being linked to autism the last couple of years, theres currently a class action lawsuit against Tylenol. Even when I was pregnant 10+ years ago my dr said to only take it if absolutely necessary eg severe pain. I would talk to your dr about an alternative, maybe just Benadryl, magnesium or something else. Also cut screens at least 2 hrs before bed (no tv or phone) it's a hard habit to break but helps. Also dim lights in your house 3 hrs before bed. That will help your melatonin kick in.
