33 weeks 4 days appointment

So yesterday at my dr appt I found out I was 3cm dilated and that my Braxton hicks have actually been contractions. I’ve also been losing pieces of my mucus plug for about a week now on and off. My next appointment moved from Wednesday next week to Monday because my doctor is thinking my water may break over the weekend. I can barely walk it hurts so bad down there. Has anyone else had this happen? If so how long was it before your water broke or you went into labor? I’m having a c-section but just not sure what expect at this point. I’m in so much pain but not wanting to just go lay in a hospital if I can just stay at home with my family and other kids.
