45 and 17 weeks pregnant
17 weeks pregnant naturally at 45. This is my 16th pregnancy in 6 years of trying, only pregnancy to make it past 11 1/2 weeks since my first 2 kids that I had in my 20’s. NIPT test low risk. One dr I saw about 5 years ago told me I may have to get pregnant 8-12 times before it worked and that was after my first or second loss. I was mad at that comment so I never went back to see her but I always thought about what she said and we kept trying. The only thing I did different this pregnancy was not taking aspirin or blood thinners, I have a clotting disorder but I also have low platelets. The only thing i have taken besides vitamins is progesterone everyday since before I tested positive, I’m still taking it even tho dr said i can stop at 15 weeks because I’m scared to stop it. Taking progesterone as soon as I thought I was pregnant was the only thing that got me past the first 5-6 weeks, every pregnancy. So far so good. I have a home doppler so every few days I check for heartbeat between appointments for peace of mind. Best wishes to everyone 🩵
