Yeah I've been trying since 5 months because she refuses bottles and mom would like a break someday haha. I've tried all sorts of bottles and sippy cups...and recently got a straw cup since she loves to try and drink.from mine...they are still little... they'll get it evenually.
Sippy cup
Has anyone started thier little one on a sippy cup yet? We have been trying she will hold on to it and bring it to her mouth but just chews on the spout (we have tried all kinds of cups). She is almost 7months, I know she may not be ready yet but we though we would start to give it a try!

My little man loves his sippy cup! I only put water in it but I offer it several times during meals and throughout the day. He loves holding it himself but hasn't grasped the concept of tipping it back yet. Going to try a straw sippy cup also.

Loves the straw! He can hold it and suck the water up by himself
We started the sippy cup at 4 1/2 months with a little bit of water. I bought all different kinds and of course the cheapest ones are the ones he will drink from. We use the toss and take ones. He understands how to drink but can't tilt far enough. Also have tried drinking from a cup and he loves that too.
