Paying a sibling to babysit?

I had my 4th child 3 months ago and it's been hell. My other children are 3 and 5 and my oldest son is 15 and he lives with his father. I haven't gotten a break at all. My husband is a truck driver and he's away right now and I have to take the baby to a doctor's appointment next week and don't want to bring the kids because they will make it so much harder. I called to ask my son to babysit. We haven't spoken in the last few months and it's my fault. I've been so caught up with everything that I've forgotten to keep in contact. When I called him and asked he asked how much I would pay him and I asked why I would pay him to watch his siblings and he said they're awful and don't listen to him so if he's gonna have kids not listen to him for a few hours he at least wants to be paid. I told him I don't ask for much and I don't understand why I would pay him to watch his siblings and he said "I don't understand how you can not talk to me for 3 months than have the balls to call me asking for stuff." Then he hung up on me. I tried to call his dad but his dad is busy. I never got paid to babysit my siblings. It's just part of helping out family.
Edit: Well I'm sorry you all are so perfect and never had to struggle with parenting by yourself and the mental toll it takes on you. I didn't intentionally forget to keep contact. My brain was just trying to keep everything together and all that was on it was the kids I physically have. I'm glad you are all perfect mothers

Is this a troll post? Stop having kids you can’t take care of. You can’t maintain a relationship with your oldest son but you keep having kids??? It’s not a siblings responsibility to watch your children, especially when you have nothing to do with them. It comes across as you’re trying to use your kid. Get on birth control, have your partner get a job with a better schedule, hire a babysitter/nanny/maid to help you

You are shitty mother. How do you just forget that you have another kid?? On top of that the only reason why you called oldest is because it benefited you. Did you even ask oldest how they were doing or anything like that? Even if you did ask you didn’t do it out of the kindness of your heart like a true mother would. You are shitty for just thinking you could ask your “forgotten child” to do you a favor after not speaking to them and not thinking they would want something out of it. Also just because the you get kids are their siblings doesn’t mean the oldest should babysit for free even if you had a good relationship with them. They didn’t decide to have kids. You decided to have kids. If you were to get a babysitter that wasn’t oldest you would have to that person so why not pay oldest. Just because you had another baby doesn’t mean you can just forget your child. So again you are shitty parent. Do better!!

You and your older son don't really have a relationship. He's not obligated to watch your children. Also he's right you don't talk to him and when you do is to ask him to do something. Hes only 15 and if you know your children are a handful you should get a responsible and capable adult to watch them. Why would you have another child when it seems you cant really handle the ones you already have? Not judging just stating what you're putting out there with your post.

Wow, I hope this is a troll because if not you don’t deserve to have your children! You are honestly going to try to say it’s ok to FORGET you have a whole child?! Your edit doesn't make you look any better. You chose to have babies therefor they are your responsibility. How do you forget to contact your own child for 3 months? I applaud your son for his response to you. You can't forget to speak to gum for 3 mohtns then lick up the phone day and expect him to help you, it doesn't work like that.

Your kids, find a sitter! Most of us grew up burdened with having to babysit other siblings, it’s not fair and as the oldest sibling I didn’t ask for the responsibility.
