Hey ladies, I'm getting married in October. Our budget is about $8,000, which will give us a tasteful ceremony/reception in the city I'm from. Our guest count will be around 75, mostly family and some close friends. Around 20 of our guests will be small children 😱 (quite a bit, I know, but we have two daughters ourselves so we want it to be kid-friendly). Anyhow, we took engagement pictures a few months ago and I "saved" a few to put on our save the dates. Well, now that I'm actively looking into creating the save the dates, I've realized how pricey they are! And this is with coupons and discounts. It would cost between $150-200 to send them out, which I feel we could use towards something else. I know that they aren't necessary or required, but I want to use those pictures somehow. Any suggestions? Did you send out save the dates and why or why not? Thanks for the advice! 🙂
