Is this cheating?

Hey everyone, I need some help.

I’ve been seeing my current boyfriend for 3/4 months, things moved pretty fast we spend a lot of time together. We get on great and have such a laugh together and when things are good they are great.

However, he is very jealous, short tempered and has some anger issues so when he goes in a mood it’s like the end of the world I’ve tried every way possible to deal with it to diffuse the situation because I hate arguing. When he’s in a mood he can become really cheeky and bring up things about my past (people I have been with etc) and makes me feel quite ashamed which makes me feel horrible. However, when he sees me upset he apologises, cries the lot because he knows what he’s said is nasty and has hurt me and says he takes it all back.

Basically he’s been working away this week for a new job, I went on his phone when he came back and checked his Snapchat to see if he had been speaking to anyone I just had a funny feeling. However, he hadn’t been snapping anyone but I could see who he had recently searched for and there was a couple of girls names. Now when I clicked on the chats there were just loads of nudes the girls had sent from before we were actually together, but it just made me feel awful that he’s even looked at them.

I confronted him about this and he apologised saying that he was showing another guy because he was showing him stuff?? Weird but anyways somehow it all got pinned back on me, I shouldn’t be looking through his phone etc.

I’m just mentally drained and exhausted with this, I don’t know what to do.
