Period question…

So, my daughter is 7 months (tomorrow) we are exclusively breastfeeding, I had a period in January and in March, but haven’t had one again since. I’m assuming just because I’m breastfeeding, my cycle is just not regular and sporadic, no biggie. But, for the past week or so I keep having cramps and a “fullness” and just overall feel like my period is going to start but it hasn’t…it’s very annoying and I kinda wish it just would. (I’m 100% not pregnant, so if you’re going to suggest maybe it’s pregnancy symptoms, it’s not) I know I can’t make my period come unless I stopped breastfeeding, which isn’t going to happen lol but has anyone experienced this? Feeling like you’re on your period basically minus the bleeding? This is my 5th baby and the first time I’m experiencing this. Usually my cycle comes back and regulates relatively quick.
