Mother in Law wants to pick me up

Hi ladies, my husband and I only have one car. My mother in law wants to pick me up and my baby every sunday to go to church. I can ride with my husband but he has to be at the church at 7:30am. My husband does not see anything bad but I dont like it because I have sensed that she is controlling and manipulative and even wants to takw care of my daughter. That sounds sweet but I am going to be taking care of her. I want my independence. I told my husband I need a car and he says that I dont. I feel so bad. What are your thoughts?
