Anyone on progesterone sup!?

Doctor gave progesterone suppositories since I had two miscarriages back to back… I have never taken progesterone suppositories before, it says take 2-3 days after ovulation… ovulation was the 9th per say… I’m just so scared to start this tonight…. Anyone taken this and what side effect is given?

I’ve taken progesterone suppositories with both of my successful pregnancies. No major side effects except discharge. It’s easiest to take them at night before bed but if you take them earlier you’re just supposed to lay down for like 30 mins after

I’ve never taken them before becoming pregnant, only right after finding out and only the oral ones. I have been put on them 3 times with 3 separate pregnancies due to having super low progesterone and miscarriages over it. Not sure if the side effects are different with the suppository ones but I take 400mg orally every day and they make me very very tired, dizzy/light headed for an hour or 2, nauseous, they give me acne, sore boobs, and hot flashes. They’ve affected me the same way all 3 times I’ve taken them

I have to take them during pregnancy due to a loss. They are simple enough to manage. You poke little holes in it before inserting them. You just make sure your hands are washed well and that you insert it just far enough to where you don’t feel uncomfortable trying not to get up to much after.
