Day 3 hospital - 17 weeks pregnant

Sarah

Okay my 16 week appointment on Tuesday afternoon didn't quite go as planned. I am on my second HG pregnancy. I was feeling awful as my hyperemesis Gravidarum was really out of control with me not being physically able to keep down my zofran tablets, I hadn't eaten or drank from Sunday evening.

My urine showed up 3+ ketones so they sent me to the hospital. 3.5 hours later and I was admitted with 5+ ketones and elevated fetal heartbeat. 5 litres of IV fluids, 4 failed antisickness tablets, 2 vitamin infusions, 3 injections in my stomach to prevent blood clots and 9 (so far) anti sickness injections in each of my arms and bum cheeks later and I have finally woke up feeling human this morning.

I'm hoping to get home later today but if I do and I run into the same issue again of not being able to keep down my anti sickness tablets how do I prevent getting this bad again?
