Is this controlling/abusive/something?

I’ve been dating this guy for a year and 8 months. I notice that he can be jealous sometimes and doesn’t like a lot of my friends and has made some comments about my family (but my family is kinda fucked up, so I can’t really blame him for that) a few times.

Anyways, we were going through a time where he broke up with me and wouldn’t really explain why. That lasted a week. Then just kind of started talking and flirting like nothing happened. During that week, he would ask what I was doing and stuff. From a picture, he assumed I went out to a bar. When he came back, it was pure coincidence that my friend was having a party the next day and I did tell him about it. I ended up running into and reconnecting with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time at the party. I posted something funny that had him in it and my bf texted me about it, convinced that it was a guy I met at a bar and was saying how this friend is probably into me. We talked, he let it go for a week and a half. But then tonight something happened with a friend I met through him and I was loosely mentioning it to my boyfriend. He started saying how “most people would be smarter than me” and how these dudes could be “baiting me to rape me”. I told my boyfriend he’s the only guy I spend time with and he said “except for the dudes you started hanging out with now” and started talking about how he doesn’t trust them.
