Baby has ventricular septal defect!

My worst nightmare has come again...my baby has possibly ventricular septal defect on my anatomy scan! I don't know what to think? Is this fixable? Is my baby's quality of life going to be bad? I am speechless. I am waiting to talk to the genetic counselor! Why is this happening? Is it possible meaning we need to do an indepth scan to see better to confirm?? Or can the hole close up on its own? I need advice and anyone who has been through this! I'm a hot mess right now!!! I'm not sure where I can post this!
