This happened a few years ago and lately I’ve been thinking about it more and more. My mind has blurred it so I don’t even know if it really happened anymore. But basically I’m a nurse and I had an older (40s) man as my trainer at my first nursing job. We had a patient with a sacral (bum) wound and there was a treatment I didn’t know how to do so I asked my trainer for help. Instead of helping me with the actual patient, he did a physical presentation how to do it, ending with how to put the dressing on (which I knew how to do) and it ended with him pretending to put the dressing on me, resulting in grabbing one side of my butt.

I froze and couldn’t move for a while. I got extreme anxiety after this and quit the job. was I sexually assaulted? My mind keeps downplaying it but I’ll never forget the way my body reacted and how I froze like that and how gross I felt. I just can’t even believe that happened. I can’t believe someone would feel like it’s ok to do that.
