Am I wrong?

We just got back from a vacation with my 2 kids, my husband and his mom stepdad and half brother. I don’t want pics of my kids online anywhere, I have tiktok & Instagram as my social media but I’ve never posted either of them. My son has been posted here and there on my mil’s fb but I talked to her about it and she hasn’t since. My husbands stepdad basically paid for the whole vacation for us which was extremely kind. I told my husband to remind everyone while we were on vacation not to post pics of the kids. He said he would, he didn’t. My mom showed me yesterday pics of my daughter on my father in laws Facebook. I asked my husband to call his stepdad and nicely ask that he take them down. He called and his stepdad was very short with him and hung up, he removed the pics shortly after. My husband isn’t mad at me but mad at the situation and kept bugging me about why I don’t want them on there, he just doesn’t get it. He said his stepdad is gonna be annoyed now and it’s gonna be a thing bc he doesn’t understand and he just wants to post pics of his grandkids, which I completely understand. He’s a wonderful grandfather and just wants to show them off. But I just don’t want them online. I feel kind of guilty bc he just did take us on this awesome trip and he really doesn’t have the money to do so and we don’t get to see them often.

I know this is kind of all over the place. I just don’t want to offend my husbands family. I love them and I don’t want anyone mad at me but I also have strong feelings about my kids faces online. Do u think I should’ve just let it go?
