Ovulation Test Help!

I’ve had negative ovulation tests every night for the last 7 days and then tonight got the darkest positive out of no where. I took 100mg of Clomid on CD 5-9 and didn’t think it worked since I’m on CD 17 and still didn’t get a positive ovulation test so we haven’t had sex. Are my odds still strong even though we haven’t been as sexually active as we would have wanted before getting a positive? Added my test from last night (barely visible) and tonight(darker than control).
