My 6 month old looks almost exactly like me. I’ve always had a somewhat passive aggressive relationship with my in laws. I’ve tried to have a good relationship with them despite my husband not wanting a strong relationship with them because of how they treated him. So I’ve left it alone for the most part. However, he does have other family members that we both do genuinely love so if I invite them to events I also have to invite the ones we don’t like to not cause a fight.

His aunt consistently.. every. single. time we see her says how every little thing he does is EXACTLY my husband. And at first that didn’t bother me too bad because I love my husband, so I’m glad he’s like my husband? But then she said “yeah I guess I can see some of you in his face.” So I replied “thanks! I’ve been getting that a lot” and she responded

“Well it doesn’t really matter who he looks like now does it?”

She’s pissed off that he looks like me. Does anyone else’s in laws do this?? Idk how to deal with it. All I can think is “am I ugly or something and that’s why you can’t stand that he looks like me? Lol “

My baby will literally fart in the wind and she would say yep. Your husband used to do the same thing 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😂
