I got the iud 3 weeks ago and finally got my period. Before I started I had really bad cramps and I’ve never had that before. Now that I’m on my period my cramps are worse than my regular ones. Idk if the iud has anything to do with it or not but is there a chance iud can worsen cramps? If yes why does it?

Also, what is the best form of medication or anything that helps with cramps? I’ve taken midol, ibuprofen, Tylenol and it doesn’t help
