For those that share custody

Is it unreasonable to want (I feel it’s actually a need really in case of an emergency) to want the address of where my children go when their dad takes them? For all I know he lives under a bridge. He refuses to share the info and I believe the reason is me filing for child support recently. I told him I don’t want him to take our oldest this weekend if he won’t share where he’ll be. His response was to threaten me with bringing a sheriff. I feel law enforcement would agree with me. Am I wrong?
