I’m trying to understand….

Tiffany

How is it that I’ll have contractions ALL night. Can’t sleep, painful, but I push through. By morning they’re done. 🤔 random ones happen here and there all day but nothing like while I’m trying to sleep.

Most people consider them “rev ups” it’s basically your body preparing for active labor. I’ve been in prodromal (early) labor for about 2 weeks now where contractions get worse around night and taper off in the morning but are still present through out the day causing some cervical changes but not a lot.

I deal with contractions all night long too. Thankfully they're inconsistent for now, I may want this kid out (I just turned 37 wks yesterday) but my apartment and I are not quite ready yet 😅

Girl I feel the same! I've just got a LOT of cleaning and decluttering to do before she's born and not enough energy to do it 😂

Do you already have kids? I'm told by my doctor that the more kids you have the worse the pain is for the Braxton Hicks contractions. Also, stay hydrated and lay on left side when you can. Gives baby more blood flow.

Same here 😭 (I'm 38+3) wondering how long it's going to be like that before real labor
