Work after transfer day?

Did you ladies work the day after transfer day?
I’m a dental hygienist and I sit a lot for my job, do you think working the following day is safe?

My transfer was on a Sunday- my husband's birthday. But his grandfather had just passed so we changed and went to the wake immediately after. I took Monday off for the funeral. So I ended up not working the day of or after (I teach) but doing all the funeral relared activities was rough physically and emotionally. Transfer was successful. Our little boy was born 5 weeke ago and we named him after the grandfather. :)
