My son just hit 21 months. He’s typically an amazing sleeper. Goes right to bed and sleeps 11-12 hours straight.

For some reason the last few days he has been SCREAMING at bed time. Not just whining but screaming bloody murder. He gets so worked up he won’t even be comforted. I try to console him and he just squirms out of my arms or starts hitting me to get away. He just screams and screams until he falls asleep. This isn’t like him AT ALL. Nothings changed at all so I don’t understand where it’s coming from.

He did it last night then finally fell asleep but woke up at 3am screaming and started all over again and took almost an hour to calm down and fall back asleep.

The only thing is he’s starting to have more tantrums throughout the day and be “naughty” but everything else is the same.

Has anyone else experienced this!? I’m at a loss. My oldest never did anything like this. If she had a regression she would wake up a lot but wouldn’t scream.
