Dr saw me Monday and wanted me back today to check fluids. He checked me vaginally and k am still closed. I am a repeat c section and he said to go to hospital tomorrow morning do he can monitor the baby. I told him why can’t we just do it on Monday. He said bc we have to wait till 39 weeks which will be next Thursday.

I thought doctors can schedule the c section if they have concerns before 39 weeks? I don’t know why he’s waiting. It seems like he wants to deliver but to go around scheduling and have me go into hospital on my own.

I don’t have a sitter 7/4-7/6 so I’m probably opting not to go till next week. Again, because my husband is more worried about giving his job fair notice. It’s disappointing that I have to work around everyone else schedule
