At how many weeks did you find out it was multiples?

I’m currently 8w4d. I just had my ultrasound and my dr mentioned it might be twins. I’m so confused as I’ve had 2 ultrasounds before this one at 4w5d and 6w but she never mentioned anything. I’m sure if  it was twins we would’ve seen it then right? Don’t get me wrong I would be overjoyed to have twins I just don’t want to get my hopes up.  No matter how many babies I’ll forever be grateful
