AITA for giving a male coworker a ride home?

I (28f) and my boyfriend (29m) have been together for 3 years. I work as a server at a restaurant. One of the bussers is 15 years old and I have always had a feeling he had a crappy home life. His dad usually picks him up and is always yelling at him. Just seems to be some emotional abuse going on but i try not to pry. Last night he was heading out the door and he asked where his dad is. He said "My dad is mad at me so I have to walk." It was almost 10pm. I said "Really? So late. This isn't a safe area at all." He said it's fine. It's a 30 minute walk and he has his headphones. I got a bad feeling. Thia side of down as a lot or robberies and assaults. So I caught up with him in my car and yelled out the window "Hey! Get in!" I texted my boyfriend to let him know i was dropping this CHILD off. When I got home my boyfriend went OFF on me and said I'm being disrespectful by letting another guy in my car and that i disrespected him. I said he's 15. He's a child. I just wanted to make sure he got home safe. He said he doesn't care and 15 is plenty old enough to have sexual feelings towards me. I told him that he gives female coworker rides home all the time and I never say anything. I am actually happy he cares about getting them home safely. He told me that's different and I as a woman should know how dangerous the world is for women. That's why he does it. I didn't want to fight with him anymore but he locked our bedroom door wnd wouldn't let me sleep there last night. Am I the one in the wrong.
