I’ve been with my boyfriend since I was 18 and have been dating for a long time. We are now in our early 30s and I’m so bothered with his juvenile decisions.

Not sure if I’m over reacting or not being that “supportive” gf but his behavior/actions are now a turn off for me.

So 2 years ago, he was robbed. He is a transmission specialist and had a shop with his dad. Someone broke into his shop and stole a customer car and his 20k tool cart. It sucked but i also feel like it was someone he knew because they broke into the shop so easily.

He would also post stacks of money on his Instagram business page. He also never put money in the bank. This was sketchy to me honestly. He didn’t trust the bank so he carried stacks of money or just store it at home. His bank account was literally at $250 max and all his Thousands would be stored at home or sometimes he’d be driving with that much in his truck. Again, I felt like it was someone he knew!! Hate to victim blame him but his stupid behavior led to this. You should never post money on social media especially with a business page where you have thousands of followers and everyone knows your location.

Lately, he’s been around friends I don’t like. I didn’t like it and he knew but he made me seem like a toxic girlfriend. These guys were gangsters who have been in prison before. He even hired one of them to work him to help him out financially. My bf started changing too. He started acting more gangster, drinking more alcohol, and acting more “hood.” I told him I didn’t like him being around the crew but he never understood. His drinking became so bad!!! He would black out almost every weekend!

Last Friday he hung out with them and drank with them! I was mad! Again, I’m not against him having friends and having a good time but these were friends that gave me a bad vibe. But he always sided with them and we even got into an argument because he defended them so much!

These type of friendships literally brought nothing good to his life!

Well Saturday afternoon, after work, they stayed at his shop to drink and hang out! Around 10pm I have 3 missed calls! I woke up around 3am and I thought “great he probably drank with these guys again”

The next morning he face timed me and his whole face had cuts, bruises, and missing teeth. His some teeth were chipped. He said his “friends” set him up. They called in 3 guys to come and rob him! They tried to take 4K he had stored in his shop. He had mentioned to his friend he had that money stored there and they took his keys and tried taking off with his truck. My bf hung on to the door keeping them from leaving and he fell onto the concrete floor. Cut his head open and broke his teeth. Luckily they found his truck. He’s at the hospital but I’m so mad!! I knew these friends were no good! Why is he still storing stacks of cash in his shop! Why!!!!!! He could have been dead!
