blue lips on 1 week old newborn ??

is this normal for my newborn? his lips seem really purple to me, he’s eating fine and his body is not cold i keep him warm constantly, should i contact his pediatrician ??

Yes have his oxygen levels checked. My newborn would turn blue everything was checked and normal but definitely something to have checked.

Does he look blue anywhere else. Fingertips, toes, inside mouth??

it could be a latch issue! i’d make a call to the pediatrician and see if you can get in with a lactation consultant, this happened to my son and he had a very shallow latch.
