Am I overthinking?

My boyfriend went out for drinks with friends he even said he didn’t have to much to drink and wasn’t stumbling around ok cool no problem
 He texts and said he just made it home
 10 mins later he said Yeah I’m home sweetie
 Then was all have a good night
 Which is unusual for him
 Am I overthinking???

I do see where you’re coming from because he did say "yeah I'm home" as if someone asked if he got home and he responded. But maybe because he had bad service, he had to send the text twice because the first one wasn't going through. It might sound like a reach, but I've had to do that several times. Just last night, a text to my husband wasn't going through so I double texted but the first one eventually sent so he ended up getting two texts. He is also probably drunk or tipsy so I’d take that into consideration.

I’m not seeing the problem here, he was out drinking. It looks like he just texted the same thing twice. He told you he was home, I’m also not sure why it’s a thing that you care how much he drank. He had a night out with the boys and texted you when he got home 🤷🏻‍♀️

It just seems like he’s had more to drink than he said . Unless you have other issues within your relationship, you may be overthinking.

I put yes before I read the text! I just think he is drunker than he’s saying and just texted twice! I’ve 100% done this! I would trust him
