I went for my 1st NST today and was having contractions. I have them quite often. They are just Braxton hicks but on the machine they register. The OB that was reading my test said I needed a cervical check cuz they were coming every 5-7mins. I should have declined, but didn’t. The nurse couldn’t find my cervix, so she just kept digging around in there. I told her it’s tilted so it’s not going to be in the right spot. I’m not even sure she ever found it. But now I’m bleeding and cramping so bad. I’m only 35 weeks so no where near ready to give birth. I will definitely decline next time. I feel like I know my body and the difference between Braxton hicks and actual contractions.
