Will insurance cover a preconception appointment?
This might be a dumb question but I just got kicked off my dad insurance earlier this year and had to switch to my own private insurance since I am self employed.. does insurances typically cover preconception appointments or do you need to pay for a family plan in order for them to cover it. I don’t fully understand how insurance crap works! I have a $3500 deductible if that makes a difference.
We have been trying for about 7 cycles for our first, im 26 and he is 30. I did a poll before and it seems like most people conceived with their first child within their first 4 cycles so I figured with us being at cycle 7 maybe an appointment wouldn’t hurt.
