Does anyone have a mid size suv (specifically a Subaru ascent) or if not just mid size with captain chairs and have 3 rear facing cars seats. We’re about to have our third baby and trying to configure the car seats is killing me. My oldest is 4 next month and I could turn her around if I absolutely had to but I really prefer to keep her rear facing as she has 15 pounds more to go rear facing in her specific seat. When we tried to have all 3 rear facing there wasn’t enough room in the driver seat for the driver to be safe.(waaaay too close to the steering wheel) but I’m just really not ready to turn her and she doesn’t complain about rear facing. My middle is 2.5 and needs to stay rear facing and then of course an infant seat. I just don’t know the best way to arrange the car seats for function. Both of the older kids still need help putting on and take off seatbelts. I feel like we’ve arranged the seats in every possible way and it just doesn’t feel comfortable for anyone. Any suggestions/ideas?
