Is cramping normal

I'm about 5 weeks and this is my third baby. I've been have infrequent cramping but it's been daily, sometimes after sex and usually in the morning. It's not super painful but definitely noticeable. My nurse said cramps are not normal but I've been reading otherwise. I also just found out that i have cysts on both of my ovaries. Nothing major but they're there.
