Tips, advice, insight- please!

I need your help- trying to lose 30 pds and feel like I cannot lose it worth anything. I am pretty busy daily with a 10,7, and 5 year old boy and a house to upkeep. I walk a mile everyday on the treadmill at 10 incline and 3 speed. I cut out my usual Dunkin coffee (super sugary) a month ago and have tried to be more conscious of my calorie intake. Why haven’t I budged neither the scale or appearance? I thought I’d have at least lost 5 pounds. I want to up my protein intake so any easy, fast recipes are great. I make dinner every night and they’re pretty decent, well portioned meals. Thanks in advance!! I can take the cold hard truth too lol
