For those of you who have two kiddos. Did you do a baby shower/sprinkle for the second baby?

I had an odd feeling about throwing one. I suppose just for financial reasons of our family going down to one income, and we would most likely have to put the shower together ourselves.

We are having another girl so we definitely have all the clothes and I saved bottles and toys for the most part.

We bought our bassinet and still have all the bigger items. But there’s just the random things that we had donated or sold like bottle warmer, pacifiers, new monitor, and just little odd ball things. I didn’t think that would constitute a whole baby shower. I did put together a registry and shared it with family and friends on Facebook. My mother has been the only one to contribute, and I had to stop her because she just wanted to help but going after all the expensive items and wanting to get all the diapers. I felt/feel awful. I just recently reposted the registry again. I know my husbands family has seen it, and nothing.

I guess I’m just kind of asking if anyone had success doing it this way or it was just a flop like what I’ve experienced so far. Right now just extremely thankful we kept all the bigger items!
