Stopped birth control mid pack, help!

My husband and I decided to start trying for baby number 2 and so I stopped birth control mid pack. Caused some cramping and spotting two days later (which google said would happen) then got my period this Saturday.

If anyone else stopped mid pack, any advice or insight on how it could affect your upcoming cycle?

Google said it can make it take longer for your period to initially come but mine came after about a week being off (pretty close when it was due )
