Someone help me feel better because I’m freaking out about having to switch my soon to be 4 yr old (next month) from rear to front facing. We’re due with baby #3 next month and our car physically won’t fit 3 year facing car seats. We tried to install the infant base with her car seat rear facing in the third row and drivers knees would literally be touching the dashboard which obviously isn’t safe. We can’t do 3 across because we have captain chairs and a new car isn’t an option because ours is paid off. I had no plans to switch her bc she’s comfy and has no problem rear facing. I feel so guilty and am freaking out. I have some pretty bad car accident anxiety and just can’t stand the thought of her being front facing yet when she hasn’t maxed out for her car seat.
