When did you toddler count to three?

When did your kids say “one, two, three?”

I keep freaking out about my son’s speech. He’s been counting “one two” a few months. But now he still sometimes only gets “one” and struggles with the two. Seems like slight regression maybe, I’m just surprised he was doing well and figured he’d count to three by now!!’

15-16 months. Every child develops differently. He was reading and writing by age 3. No need to freak out.

My daughter counts to 20. She is 2 years and 3 months and not in school yet. Her older sister goes to school though. I think kids with older siblings tend to learn faster.

The average is around age 2 but can definitely take up to age 3. 
My daughter was speech delayed. She didn’t say more than 1-2 words verbally until 24m. Once she finally started talking, she caught up quickly. Now she’s 35m and can count to 20 with the occasional mix up of 13 and 14 (common to say a number twice or skip a number). 
I wouldn’t jump to a speech delay simply because they are stuck on only counting 1 to 2. 
My 21m old has over 100 words and makes 2-4 word sentences but can’t count to 3. He’s not delayed at all.
