Hip/glute pain during perimenopause cycles?

I am dealing with piriformis syndrome which my Osteo and naturopath tell me is related to my cycle. I’m perimenopausal and stopped oral contraception 7 months ago. Apparently this can be common. Has anyone experienced this? How are you dealing with it?

Estrogen is like lubrication for your joints. The reduction of it makes everything hurt. It affects EVERYTHING. Hair. Skin. Vision. Teeth. Bones and joints, sleep, can cause migraines. Not to mention hot flashes. Night sweats. Vertigo. Anxiety. Depression.  Weight gain. The list goes on and on.
