My son is autistic (nonverbal) and honestly has been hard to teach him anything or try to eat. He always wants to be alone in his room playing by himself. He eats nothing but oreo cookies and gummies and the rest he makes a dusgust face and gags at it nor will he try it. He does have pica and well chew cardboard, paper and toilet paper. How do you mothers with autistic kids do it? I feel I'm starving my child. I've tried everything to get him to trying new things.
