Husband constantly trying to resell my stuff
I don't know anyone who does this but my husband but whenever I buy something for myself or our kids he tells me fine yes I can buy it if I can resell it to make money later. His equations is 20% back later.
If I buy a stroller I have to sell it later then. If our kids need clothes then sell them later. We have three boys and they use stuff. Also we are not well off so they really use stuff like shoes or a stroller for five years. I cannot make back the cost on items on kids stuff it isn't lucrative.
I currently want a wagon stroller as I haven't had a new stroller in five years and have a baby and two kids. He keeps talking about I'm allowed to buy one if I can resell it next year. I don't want to resell it I want to use lol. He doesn't get it. He also pulled up a wagon utility cart for forty bucks used and doesn't understand how that's not the same thing. I have a baby I need them to be safe 🤦♀️
He does this with everything! Doesn't matter the conversation we have I am then upset because we need things and he won't agree. We do live frugal he has more expensive taste then me. But I never say "well sweetie you bought a new hockey stick you need to sell your broken one before you can get a new one!" Or "before you buy more sunglasses sell the old ones" my favorite though "don't ruin your shoes we got to sell those for 20% in five years."
He's ridiculous.
Kids are expensive and it's just life. I do sell things we are not using but not for 20%! Or to make a profit! I just needed to rant sorry.
