Does this look safe?

Question

Put the microwave in a kitchen cabinet to free up some counter space. Does it look too enclosed for a microwave? Is it okay? Also are the pink buckets on top  okay?

Forgive me if I’m wrong but most microwaves state in the user manual to not keep anything on top of them. I know from experience my bread has dried out prematurely being set in top a microwave, so I’d for sure move the storage elsewhere.

So I know that there are micowaves that can go in a built in cabinet (a lot of older houses have such cabinets like over the stove and such). Mine hangs over my oven and the top and one side and back are against 2 cabinets and a wall, but the bottom and other side are open. It would just depend on what the manual for your brand of microwave says. For the bins on top, I would move them or see if you can install like a wire rack a few inches above for them to sit on. The plastic could potentially melt from the heat and waves coming from the microwave.

My microwave is in the garage. It beams you, and you really have to clear out of the room to avoid it. If you don’t believe me, an EMF reader will support the notion.
