Whatever you're eating. My son had refried beans and cheese as his first solids meal because he was so interested in my nachos one night (6.5 months old). 😅

I don’t remember my oldest but with my youngest (4.5 now) she had spaghetti for her first food. And loved it. 
There’s no reason what so ever for giving certain food for x days. An allergy can develop any time after multiple multiple food exposures. Also there’s no medical evidence for it. 
If you start out with purées, it should only be done for 1-2m max. At 7-8m old is when table foods need to be started. If not and waiting longer you have a higher risk for aversions and developmental delays with foods. 
All honesty purées are over rated and one should just start off with real foods. Baby led weaning. Solids starts on IG is a good place for information.

We did baby food in jars, cups, and pouches. My son loved the blackberries. He became obsessed with the apples and chicken. We didn’t do table food until after he was 1. We did bananas. I ordered baby food from Amazon. I did Gerber and BeechNut. Target and Kroger had some good ones. Bananas and banana baby oatmeal was a hit. We did corn, squash, sweet potato and baby rice. I did warm up the food. He loved most of the baby foods. I never fed him any of the jars of meat. They didn’t look appeasing, and I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog, honestly.
