This is about a family member of mine who I’m pretty sure doesn’t like me but is fake nice to me. They claim to want a relationship with me but make literally no effort and decline any plans I try to make with them. I texted them at the end of June, and it was marked read the next day. A month later now, they texted me and said they just saw my text. They said they miss me so much and wish I would visit them (they live an hour away and I have little kids and am very pregnant so I don’t want to drive but I’ve invited them to my house multiple times over the last year and they cancelled day-of each time). To me that shows they never even opened our conversation thinking to reach out to me or anything. Is there any way they really just saw the text yesterday?
