Hello, I’ve been on nexplanon bc implant since December 2022 and plan on getting it removed august 2024. I am very sexually active with my one partner and it is our only source of contraception. I gained 35lbs while on the implant and my skin has been horrible that’s why I am getting it removed. However, I haven’t had a period since the end of may 2024. We are now almost in august. I started getting concerns of pregnancy since I am very late and I’ve started showing extreme bloating to where people have asked me if I was pregnant at work. My partner also is concerned and he politely told me I look like I have early pregnancy or something else is wrong medically. I’ve taken 2 tests already and both came back negative. I know it’s unlikely to be pregnant on this kind of birth control but I am starting to become very concerned. My periods are normally regular but I feel like this bc is messing up my whole body. So I don’t know if I’m pregnant or if it’s just the implant messing with things. What should I do? Any advice? I am a 23 year old female just for context. Should I continue taking tests ?
