My daughter is 4 and my ex and I share custody. I've had to start sending her to him with second hand clothes I don't mind losing because half the time the clothes come back to me ruined if they come back at all. It just feels vindictive at this point.

I've told my ex that if he loses or ruins an outfit, he needs to replace it but he doesn't listen. He says "How am I supposed to know what's ruined or lost and what's not?" His sisters are fed up with him too and are like, are you serious? You're freaking 35. Figure it out.

Just wondering if anyone else is going through this or has gone through it and what you've done.

Edited to add: if I don't send my daughter with clothes, he will just put her in the same thing over and over again. I went to a three-day conference and I got a note from my daughter's school that she wore the same clothes three days in a row. Her teacher said the clothes were "very dirty". I bought her everything for her room at her dad's but it's since been lost or ruined. He flat out refuses to buy her clothing.
