I have had my implant (the second one) for almost 3 years and it will expire in March 2025. I just got a new job and likely won't have insurance for a couple of months. My doctor likes to replace them with about 6 months left to make sure there's not any error with expiration. My husband and I do want to have a baby at some point but I need to make sure that I am settled in the position to get the FMLA that somes with it as well as complete the exam needed for my licence, so I'll get another one for now. Will it be okay to wait until around October ish to get another one? At that time I'll have about 5 months left on it.
