Contractions Not Painful?

Question

My contractions are around 5 minutes apart, but they are not painful. They are like “oh yep I feel them” but they aren’t painful. Should I head into L&D or wait until they become painful?

I’ve been to the hospital 3 times this weekend for it and been sent home each time. They said it’s prodromal or early labor and to come back when I can’t breathe, talk, or stand during regular contractions.

Wouldn’t risk it if they can be timed. Not everyone has dramatic pain especially in early labor.

If contractions are 4 minutes apart for 1 hour and last 1 minute, then that’s when we may be in early labor. If they are painless and no other issues no need to go in but give the hospital OB dept a call.

Well i.bled for 2 days and i started to get contractionsat midnigjt intel 5am at 5am they were like almost 2min apart i was 6 cm or si when i arrived is almost 45 min drive thry.wouldnt let me come in intel it got closer on contractions

This is happening to me today. I called and they said don’t come in. If they’re not painful, your bag of water didn’t break, no bleeding and you’re still feeling movement it could be either early labor or prodromal. I am waiting to see if mine get worse because right now it’s like the slightest period crampy feel and that’s it.
