I’m freaked out! Help

Don’t be judgmental before my period started I was diagnosed with BV my doctor gave me the gel (insert at bedtime for 5 nights) but while using the gel I got my period. I asked my doctor what to do she told me to continue to insert the gel (which I did ) fast foward to now my period should be over which it’s not heavy enough for a pad but I when I wipe I see weird clumpy blood.. it’s like a brownish discharge color it’s been two days is this normal ?
