i have a hormonal iud, i bled for the first month(spotting) then it stopped and i didnt have a period for a year. randomly i started bleeding and have been for well over a week, enough to bleed through my pants, it is now brown. i just had intercourse and there were clumps of stringy blood when i wiped( not big, one was about the size of the tip of my pinky finger round and wide and the other the size of an inch worm, both pulled apart. basically im wondering if this is normal or a cause for concern?

before anyone says anything i tend to overthink so i want some info before i call my gyno to see if maybe my iud needs checked or changed ( my strings are short so i can never check and feel the strings for myself). also want to add my cramps are horrible with my period and i have been nauseous and pms so i do believe its a period period
