I'm 18 and there's someone in our neighborhood in like his late 40's. First time he lived here and we met him I was 14, then he moved away and moved back when I was 16. He was always nice to me. He would sometimes talk to me about my autism because he has an autistic son who his son's mother keeps from him. Just would tell me things like that. When I turned 18 on my birthday he gave me the game of thrones books because I never read them. I thanked him. After I turned 18 he tried to be more friendly with me. Talk to me more. He wanted to exchange numbers. He somehow found out I wanted hazbin hotel merch so he surprised me with this Lucifer plush. He recently started asking me out on dates and I said no thank you. I don't really want a boyfriend and he's old enough to be my dad. He asked me out again today and told me to give him a chance because guys my age are extremely immature and he's way more experienced. I again said no and he got sad. I said I was sorry and he said he was used to women taking advantage of him. I asked how I took advantage of him and he said I accepted his gifts. That the books he got me were almost $300 and the Lucifer plush was $100. I apologized and said I wasn't trying to take advantage and offered to give them back and he said no thx. I sometimes can come off as rude but don't think I'm being rude. It's my autism. But I don't think I took advantage and if I did it wasn't my intention 😕
